Picatsso© began several years ago - and originated from a rough pencil sketch of the family cat
by the artist's son Nathaniel, as a Christmas gift to his dad. This sketch sat on a shelf above Paul's piano untouched for some time, until one day Paul had a vision of producing cat art prints.
He began this task with a recycled piece of scrap linoleum and delicately etching this image in, he then experimented with many different types of non-toxic water based ink and application techniques in order to perfect the outcome, thus the creation of the first ever Picatsso© Print.
Our 'Picatsso' came to live with us about 8 years ago. He was living at the local SPCA and in need of a good home. He is an indoor cat and has the run of the house. Picatsso likes to sleep with his master and always reminds us when it's time for his breakfast in the morning, he is a great joy to our family!
